Zero-tolerance anti-ragging policy, helplines and reporting at SHRINIVASGERIMS.
SHRINIVASGERIMS follows a zero-tolerance policy on ragging, in line with UGC and NMC regulations. Ragging in any form — in hostels, campus, hospital or online — is a punishable offence.
Role of the committee
- Prevent ragging through orientation, surprise visits and hostel monitoring
- Receive complaints from students or parents
- Inquire rapidly and recommend disciplinary action including rustication where proven
- Display anti-ragging helplines and affidavits as required at admission
How to report
- Tell a warden, batch mentor, or any faculty member immediately

Freshers and seniors submit anti-ragging undertakings at joining as notified in the admission pack.
