SHRINIVASGERIMS maintains a Committee for Prevention of Gender Harassment (internal complaints / POSH-aligned campus mechanism) so students, staff and patients have a clear way to report sexual harassment and related misconduct.

Role

• Receive and inquire into complaints of gender-based harassment on campus and in the hospital
• Recommend interim measures to protect complainants
• Promote awareness among students, residents and employees
• Advise the administration on a safe workplace and learning environment

Complaints are handled confidentially to the extent the inquiry allows. Retaliation against a good-faith complainant is not tolerated.
